We had the best time on our Wekiva River Cruise with Angel. He was a brilliant tour guide for us pointing out local wildlife including Alligators, Turtles, Fish and various bird species. He gave us insight into local hangout and fishing spots. We would recommend this tour to everyone! We would be very keen to return and do the Sunrise cruise

This boat tour was just what our family needed on a beautiful weekend morning. We started the tour at Wekiva Island which is a great place to escape the typical theme park destinations Orlando has to offer. Captain Angel is very knowledgeable about the local history of the area and spotted a good amount of wildlife during the tour. We saw alligators and several different species of birds. He showed us a shell midden island that was once inhabited by native americans many years ago. The boat is well decorated and life jackets were provided for the kids. After the tour we hung around Wekiva Island and had a great lunch from the food truck, the kids played with other kids, and my wife and I enjoyed a few local beers from the bar. Overall it was a great experience!

We went on the Wekiva sleigh ride with Angel, and he was fantastic. He made the experience truly interactive and memorable, and we felt completely safe the entire boat ride. I even tried to tip him afterward, and he genuinely wouldn’t accept it. In a world where we tip baristas, that level of integrity and professionalism really stood out.

Great time! Captain was full of interesting information about the river and its history. It’s old Florida at its best. Will definitely go again.

We had a delightful one-hour cruise on a small quiet river within a huge nature preserve. The little pontoon boat and the whole surrounding landing area have great “old Florida” vibes. Capt. Angel (who owns the boat) is very good at spotting elusive and hidden wildlife. This is a little gem of an outing for small groups of family or friends who want to experience a slice of Florida away from the crowds and concrete. Note: do not expect to see big gators as they are rarely in the area.
