Reviews
tripadvisorWe stayed at the Compton this past weekend for a friend’s wedding. This is a brand new, beautifully designed hotel right in the middle of Bentonville. It is very close to the restaurants, shops, town square and a short walk to the Crystal Bridges Museum. The lobby is gorgeous and spacious. The rooms are nicely appointed and have comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, luxurious bathrobes, slippers, blow dryer, iron, steamer, refrigerator and are pretty quiet. We were on the 5th floor so it was nice to be high up (you pay extra for a higher floor) but we could still hear the hammering and banging from the construction going on outside early in the morning during the week. Unfortunately the hotel could not do anything about that but it would have been nice if they offered us free drinks or gave us some compensation for the noise. There is a fine dining restaurant in the hotel but we did not eat there. There is also a bar on the 2nd floor which was very crowded over the weekend as there were multiple events going on. The casual breakfast/lunch restaurant could use some tweaking. It is not a traditional place where you sit down, order and are served your meal. You have to go up to a window, order your food and they bring it to your table. The issue we encountered were long lines in the morning to get coffee or food and the same for lunch. Also, the service was very slow and one day when we went to have lunch at 2:00 they were out of most of the offerings on the menu. We ended up eating breakfast and lunch at other places. We were surprised that they did not have free coffee in the lobby like a lot of other hotels do now. One more comment, we paid for a premium room and they didn’t even have two water bottles for us in the room. We had to ask for them and it really should be something the hotel offers to their guests. Parking is $30 a day at the hotel. It is hard to find parking close to the hotel so there is really no choice but to pay that. Staff at the hotel was very nice.
MoreGreat hotel experience, perfect location in the middle of all the action in Bentonville, but also quiet. Our room was very well appointed, lots of room very comfortable bed, and a great bathtub. Highly recommended.
MoreTreated like the most important customers. Nick was excellent extremely helpful made sure we had room for our small travel trailer. He really went the extra mile. If back in bentonville this is the only place I’ll stay. Jon and Tara
MoreThis hotel is clean, crisp and an experience you will remember. The rooms have multiple lighting options for each room. Quality in all they put into your living space including the frame television. I have a frame TV so i understand what you are buying and the quality that they put in their room TV options. The lobby fireplace and lounge area is top notch. I will be back in Bentonville the week of March 15th. I will again be choosing The Compton and bringing my wife in midweek to experience all that this hotel has to offer.
MoreOur stay at The Compton in downtown Bentonville was outstanding from start to finish. The location truly can’t be beat — you’re steps away from the square, amazing restaurants, coffee shops, and everything that makes Bentonville such a fun destination. The hotel itself strikes the perfect balance between modern luxury and warm, welcoming charm. The rooms are beautifully designed and incredibly comfortable. The cozy bedding and thoughtful amenities were nicely done. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to make your stay memorable. We will definitely be back!!!
