I had the opportunity to join a special International Women’s Day running tour in downtown St. Petersburg with Florida Running Tours led by Laura, and it was such a fantastic experience. She guided a group of about 40 women on a little over a 4-mile run through downtown, stopping along the way to highlight some of the incredible murals that make St. Pete so unique.Laura shared snippets of history about the city and the artists behind the murals, which made the run feel more like a moving art tour than a workout. I had so many favorites along the route, and it’s clear we probably only saw a fraction of the murals downtown.Be ready to be completely enthralled by every aspect of the experience, from the stories to the art itself. It was inspiring, educational, and a really fun way to explore the city with an amazing group of women.I’m already hoping to come back and see more murals in the near future… maybe at a slightly slower pace next time (or with a few extra stops so I can catch my breath ). Highly recommend!

I don’t know anyone who knows this city better than my tour guide, Laura. I did a solo tour with her, and she took me through some of the most interesting and meaningful parts of Tampa. This is the absolute best way to explore the city while getting a run in! We explored various new exciting places I haven’t even noticed in my 7 years of living here, and I learned a lot about places like the University of Tampa and the Tampa Theater!I was nervous to run so far (4 miles lol) but the educational stops made it doable and amazing!
