We did a snorkel tour in the San Marcos River with Save Our Springs Alliance. Educational, fun, relaxing, beautiful, exceeded expectations. Don't know if they will have more in San Marcos, but they do have Snorkeling Eco-Tours at Barton Springs. Even if you've been to Barton Springs a hundred times, you will learn something new, be amazed at what you've missed before and want to go again.
