What an incredible two days of bourbon tasting and Kentucky culture/history perfectly curated for our group of 10 by Rhonda (and Mike)! We visited several distilleries in the Frankfort, KY region that gave our mixed group of bourbon fans and novices tremendous knowledge about the history of bourbon making, how to taste and discern flavor notes, and fun and educational anecdotes about Kentucky. She selected distilleries that focused on bourbon, and also included some later in the day that offered gin and vodka (knowing we had some in our group that weren't brown liquor fans). Rhonda's enthusiasm and love for Kentucky and all things bourbon was evident from the get-go. She has a wonderful storytelling style and a fantastic, infectious laugh. Can't wait for our next visit and will 100% recommend Bourbon Trails & Bluegrass Tales to friends and family!

Talk about fun!! Rhonda was outstanding. We loved all of her expertise, stories, intelligence and genuine love of her state. Bourbon Trails & Bluegrass Tales gave us such an incredible Kentucky bourbon experience from start to finish! Our itinerary included Buffalo Trace, Woodford Reserve, Wild Turkey and Larrikin Bourbon, and every single stop brought something different and special to the day.But what truly made the experience were Rhonda and Mike. They are an absolute blast! Their knowledge of Kentucky history, bourbon, the distilleries and all the little stories in between is phenomenal, but they share it in such a fun, funny and engaging way. We laughed a ton, learned so much, and genuinely enjoyed just spending the day with them. It never felt scripted or “touristy” — it felt like exploring bourbon country with incredibly knowledgeable friends who happen to know all the best stories. The entire day was so thoughtfully planned and flowed effortlessly. You can tell how much time, care and attention they put into creating a memorable experience, but from our side, all we had to do was sit back, relax and enjoy every minute.From the incredible history at Buffalo Trace, to the beauty of Woodford Reserve, the Russell family legacy and views at Wild Turkey, and the wonderfully unique personality of Larrikin, it was the PERFECT mix.Our group had an absolute ball, and this is one of those days we’ll be talking about for a very long time. ❤️If you’re thinking about doing the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, book Bourbon Trails & Bluegrass Tales!! What an amazing, fun filled, two days we had with Rhonda and her husband. They took us to several different distilleries, some well known and others we would have never found on our own. Rhonda greeted us with some amazing donuts and goody bags for each of us. She was a wealth of information, was full of great stories and made sure we had a great time.
