tripadvisorWe discovered Hartley Botanica when we visited the Unicorn Experience. This is just outside of the Conejo Valley and is worth the drive. The backdrop to unicorns was amazing. We felt like we entered fairy-tale with twists and turns. If I ever get married again (lol) we will be coming here for a wedding.
MoreWe could not believe how lovely this garden was. We visited with The Unicorn Experience and we were impressed! Everything about this place is lush. Nothing feels California or dry. It's green, clean and the perfect backdrop for everything unicorns or a wedding or two.
MoreStumbled upon Hartley Botanica while headed to the beach and wow, what a pleasant place to stroll through! There is a nursery on site but the gardens are open to the public and they do hold weddings and special occasions there. Walking the grounds you feel like you’ve been transported to a tropical location. There are lush plants everywhere and small waterfalls. It’s very picturesque and provides for some great photos. Definitely worth a stop if in the surrounding area.
MoreWe went here for a friends' wedding and it was absolutely beautiful. I felt like I was somewhere else entirely with the trees surrounding us
MoreI attended my nephews wedding last evening at this beautiful venue. It is a gorgeous property with several areas - in this case one area was the wedding ceremony which featured two areas for guests seated at an angle with a central aisle for the wedding party that allowed you to see the procession and the ceremony without having to turn around in your seat. The chairs were on the grass but it was obviously level and green. You are surrounded by large dense trees on all sides and trellised pathways. After the ceremony the wedding party exits one way and the guests another. As a guest we went through another trellised entry way into an area surrounding a large tree where cocktail tables and a photo booth were set up, and a bar serving cocktails. Servers circulated with craft beer in bottles, and appetizers of mini tacos, egg rolls, and mozzarella/tomato basil kebabs. A buffet was set up on a very large , very long stone counter serving salad, lasagne, chicken, and short ribs with large platters of roasted veggies and good bread and more. The desserts , cake and coffee/tea was set up in a central area. The catering crew and wedding coordinator did a fantastic job and it really is a magical place.
