I find it noteworthy that so many hotels in Madison are ranked so high that this place is down the list with so many 5/5. Everything was just fine. Only complaint is there is nowhere in walking distance that I could find to buy beer to put in the fridge.

Mary, Erica and Felica were the best! Service with a smile reigns here in Madison. Mary was amazing upon check-in , and we finished our evening with a drink at the bar with Erica! Erica was super efficient tending bar and running food, super pleasant, and great at her job! Our room was comfortable and clean and we did enjoy a good night's sleep . I don’t much care for the It Works brand of soap/shampoo so I am grateful I travel with my own. The breakfast in the club room was adequate; but chaotic in the way that it is laid out-with most folks congregating in the tightest corner of the breakfast area. Bowls should be located and stacked on the long bar near the cereal, and coffee accouterments should be located on the long bar as well . There were too many people trying to fill coffee and split bagels (please purchase precut ) in that small corner area. Please consider a more efficient layout. Additionally, water bottles and yogurt were not refreshed during a busy Sunday morning . Upon checkout, Felica also provided helpful information and an easy checkout! The staff here is great and I am grateful we chose this hotel during our stay in Madison. Thanks for a great first time at Madison South! I would stay here again solely for the three people I mentioned who were very hospitable!

Lifetime Platinum/Ambassador status,/97 Marriott stays this year. Excellent MarriottThis property is a short Uber from airport to hotel. Friendly front staff (Nat?). very nice welcome gift that included water & Spotted Cow (local favorite) beer. Apparently, this location was Sheraton, now redone to Marriott. Very well done. Bicycle motif throughout. Room was clean, AC worked well. M Club open 24/7 with soda/coffee/chips. M Club breakfast with many choices, hot & cold; dinner much more limited. I ate at the The Hub- excellent food & service from Willie. Fitness Center is well equipped with free weights, ellipticals, 3 Peleton, and one standard bike. Checkout easy. Great property, will return.

We had a wonderful stay at the Marriott South Madison. The checkin desk staff were very professional & kind. The shuttle service to the Overture Theater was the best as my husband has hip problems & walking is difficult right now. We thoroughly enjoyed talking with Roderick as he took us to & from. We are so pleased you offer this service. I also had the pleasure of dinner at the Hub! I have to tell you my salmon dinner was absolutely delicious & the waitress made sure it was done just the way I love it. Thank you

If you like Marriott, you'll like this hotel. Things were clean and comfortable, and the lobby features a great bar and a coffee shop. There's a beautiful walking trail right outside the front door, but otherwise there's nothing else around. You'll need a car or Uber to get to any restaurants or other amenities. But if you just need a place to sleep for a night or two, this Marriott property fits the bill.
