The John Burroughs Slabsides site is very interesting and a fascinating look on how this Naturalist and Author spent his down time to get his work done. This cabin is even rustic for the time period but it sits on such a beautiful parcel of land and the trails are be gorgeous when everything is in bloom.It is a must for naturalists and conservationists who are interested in the history of John Burroughs. Even if you aren't, the trails are amazing to walk through. Very interesting site.
