Cornerstone Flooring Companies began in 2002 when Jim Lloyd set out to build a flooring partner defined by reliability, craftsmanship, and care. From humble beginnings with a folding table, a salvaged computer, and a leaky roof, we’ve grown into one of the Gulf South’s premier commercial flooring contractors trusted by general contractors, architects, designers, and property managers. Our story is one of grit and growth. After standing with our community during the 2016 Baton Rouge floods, we sharpened our focus on people, partnerships, and excellence. In 2025, we expanded through the acquisition of Craft Croswell, a respected leader since 1973. Together, we bring decades of expertise, efficiency, and value to our clients. Our intent is simple: Develop People. Build Relationships. Enhance Environments. For our clients, that means peace of mind. For us, it means living out the values that guide our work. "If what we do is not memorable, it’s wasted. The more I see the impact we can have on people’s lives, the more seriously I take this work." Jim Lloyd, Founder
