Private one-on-one tutoring services for any grade level (elementary through college undergrad)! I specialize in math and science. I tutor in-person at your home, local library or cafe, or virtually via Zoom! My rate is $75/hr. I also teach students computer science, reading/writing, philosophy, study skills and time management, college essay writing, and SAT/ACT test prep! I have 5+ years of tutoring experience and I was a teacher for Full STEAM Ahead, MIT's Summer math and science program for aspiring engineers. I also have 2 years of education research experience at MIT's Teaching Systems Lab. See my paper published in Behavioral Science, Eliciting Learner Knowledge: Enabling Focused Practice through an Open-Source Online Tool. This research focused on creating simulated scenarios to help pre-service K-12 teachers practice teaching math and science argumentation. My academic background in the the field of education is what sets me apart; you can trust that your student is being taught how to think and learn for themselves and be deeply curious!
