Security gates broken, no coffee in the room, no coffee in the lobby 2 hight stay and no linen change. Staff said we have what we have.

I was passing through Baton Rouge yesterday and decided to stay at this hotel again. The front desk staff was extremely rude and lied to me. He assigned me a room all the way at the end of the hallway by the freeway, and I did not feel safe. Additionally, the room was so close to the highway that it was extremely noisy. I went back to the front desk and told the guy that I would like to change to another room in the middle of the hallway. He told me that there were no rooms available. I pointed out that the parking lot was empty and there weren't any guests checking into the hotel yet. There were plenty of vacant rooms available. He refused to move me to another room. I told him that I am a diamond member. He said it didn't matter. They assigned me the room, so I had to accept it. I asked him to let me talk to the manager. He claimed the manager was not available. I asked him how he could assign me a room without a phone. Finally, he moved me to another room. The room he assigned me had many tiny bugs on the bed and pillow.

STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTYRoom conditions. Large mold area on bathroom ceiling and obvious water damage in several areas of bathroom walls. Bathroom door wouldn’t close completely nor did the deadbolt on room door fully engage. The carpet was badly stained and smelled horribly. Whatever repairs had been attempted looked like it was someone trying to put a Band-Aid on a bleeding artery and were obviously not done a professional. This property is an embarrassment to the Choice brand of hotels. Had this been my first experience with a Comfort Suites hotel I would definitely not consider staying in another choice brand hotel in the future. The franchisee obviously does not care about the conditions of the rooms in their hotel as several other guests also had complaints about room conditions and the hotel staff indicated that issues had been brought to the higher-ups attention to no avail. This property needs to be inspected by the health department and processed accordingly. The one pro about this property was that the staff was courteous and obviously working hard under very difficult circumstances.When we brought our concerns to the attention of the front desk when checking out and showed them pictures of the room, we had stayed in, the manager, decided to refund our money in full.

The hotel locates right on highway 10. The room was newly remodeling. The front desk guy was very friendly. The room was so nice, beautiful, and clean. The bed was so comfortable. Overall, I really enjoyed staying here. I would highly recommend this hotel to all visitors.

Terrible. Two night stay booked by coworker. Door deadbolt didn't work. Frig was gone. Microwave was gone. Shower curtain didn't reach tub. No hair dryer. People sitting in open smoking weed at 11pm. Bed was comfortable. That's it. Never again.
