Having spent 17 years in the secondary English classroom and tutored students, I have worked with students from elementary to adults. I have supported dozens of students with ADHD and/or autism, and many times, they struggle with executive functioning skills. Many neurotypical students struggle with EF skills, too, as well as some adults! I meet with the parents and student first to get to know them and find out your student’s biggest struggles. I use engaging and interesting activities to keep students’ focus while coaching them on executive functioning skills and how to use them day to day.
