I selected this hotel because I had not previously stayed at a Spark. This is Hilton's very basic and economic property. The staff was friendly and professional, and the room was very clean. Breakfast was Continental. There was no coffee maker in the room. The bathroom was a toilet and tub/shower with the sink in the main part of the room. This particular property is adjacent to a gas station/convenience store and just off the highway. Exiting the parking lot is a challenge. The traffic on the main road is congested and there is little opportunity to turn right. If you want to turn left be prepared to wait, and wait, and wait. I exited through the gas station parking lot onto a side street and let my GPS guide me. I stayed on the first floor at the back of the hotel. This reduced the road noise. Of course, you can always put on the air conditioner, which is controlled on the unit itself. It is very loud! While I prefer to stay at Hilton properties, it is unlikely I will select a Spark again.

We stayed here one night after a fkught. Got there super late. Door was locked to lobby when we got there but the front desk buzzed us in pretty quickly. Front desk was helpful when we checked in. Hotel was n close to highway and about 15 minutes from the small airport there weere lots of fast food resturant near by and gas. Overall room was comfortable and quiet. Parking was easy.

We were in Springfield because my friend had major surgery at the nearby Peace Health Hospital. For convenience we decided to stay at Springfield Spark for 10 days.Hotel is close to many restaurants and businesses which was great.All of the hotel employees were awesome. In a world where customer service is almost nonexistent, this crew took good care of us.I hope the owners read this post and reward their front desk and custodian employees:Drashti, Marge, Nayeli, Melissa, Marcos, and AJ. This hotel is along a street with lots of other hotels, so nothing fancy. But! The beds were so very comfortable and the rooms were decently sized. Great shower experience. Check in was easy and staff were very kind and professional. Breakfast was nothing to brag about but I'm not staying for the food. The most important part was the quality of sleep (great!), the room (so clean!) and the shower (excellent). Would stay there again, especially for the price.
