Magic Hour Creative is a filmmaking hub in Pittsburgh — part youth program, part creative studio, and part event space. We create videos, podcasts, and digital media while giving young and emerging artists the space, tools, and support to bring their ideas to life. One of our core programs is Magic Hour Academy, a Teen Film & Media Lab for grades 9–12. Our evening membership program offers a welcoming, safe space for collaboration where teens can learn filmmaking by actually making projects. No experience is required — curiosity and a willingness to create are enough. Teen Membership Program • Evening lab memberships (Mondays & Wednesdays, 4–8 PM)
 • Rolling enrollment with monthly membership options • Student-led film & media projects
 • Build confidence, self-advocacy, and real-world creative skills Magic Hour Creative also works beyond our teen lab:
 • We partner with schools for in-school programs, workshops, and creative residencies
 • We collaborate with local businesses, nonprofits, and creative partners on video and media projects
 • Students gain hands-on experience working on real client productions alongside mentors Learn more about memberships, partnerships, or video projects at magichourcreative.org
