My wife and I were having a very quiet and relaxing Labor Day, today 09/01/25. She suggested we go to this place for a late afternoon walk around their pond.We’ve lived in Mandeville for 15 years and I never heard of this place, it’s mostly shaded and very pleasant, today there was a pleasant breeze. The trail is mostly gravel but also elevated platforms and a super easy walk.Besides the pond and seclusion of the trees/ wetlands habitat we saw a family of ducks, she said were whistling ducks with 5-7 babies (pictures attached).
