We had a 6-day rental 2 blocks away. Hyde Park itself is quite compact, 4 blocks along 13th Street, centered within the larger Boise North End residential area. There are 2 or 3 coffee shops, half dozen restaurants, and half dozen boutique retail shops. Downgrade one pip rating due to super narrow streets and congested parking. It's worth a stroll if you're going to be on that side of town, but I wouldn't schedule a visit around it.

It is a very beautiful and peaceful area in Boise north end! There are restaurants, coffee shops, icecream parlors, toy store, antique store and other places! It is suitable for families and children! Nice area to have a walk. It is highly recommended!

Gorgeous area to walk around. A bunch of shops and restaurants to stop at. Overall just a quaint area in the North End, not a long walk from downtown.

I finally found the crown jewel of boutique shops at Hyde and Seek in Hyde Park ID. Such an eclectic array of goodies...my granddaughter said she wanted to live there...me too. The gracious staff made us feel welcomed and I'm sure we touched everything there and sniffed every candle. I will be back to Boise in a week and hope to show my husband all the things I want for Christmas...now !!

We got to stay on both sides of the river. The first near the stadium (best location to rent Pedego bikes) and the other side in Hyde Park. If I lived in Boise Hyde Park would be my place! Liked the vibes and the local restaurants in HP.
