My grandkids absolutely love this place. They ask to go there every time they visit us in Hickory. Downtown hickory right across the street with places to eat/shop. Don't miss this gem!

I have been taking my grand-daughter here for several years (she is now 6). She loves the park/play ground. I love that it is well maintained, safe (as any playground can be), and located right downtown. During the summer months, the park has a water feature that the kids seem to really love. This coupled with ample seating for the adults to relax and keep an eye on the kids make this a win win for both of us. I also, need to mention that there are a few picnic tables and we often go to the park with a smaller cooler filled with water, juice, a sandwich, some fruit and other goodies.

This park is on our list EVERY time we have guests with children. There's something here for people of any age, and the art is lovely. Bonus: it's dog-friendly (on leash)!
