This was a decent place to stay and had a very nice front desk manager. My only complaints are that there were no hand towels in the bathroom and the television was complicated to operate with no live TV news channels.

My check-in date was for Dec. 23rd, but due to some car trouble, I wasn't able to get there until around 3am on the 24th. I was so preoccupied with finding transportation, that I forgot to call to let them know that I would be arriving late. Unfortunately, by arriving late and not calling, made it look like I was a no-show so my reservation was cancelled. Thankfully the wonderful lady at the front desk understood my situation and was able to rebook my reservation and get me a room. She was so understanding and accommodating. The room I stayed in was clean and spacious, and I especially loved that it was equipped with a full size fridge and stove. I would definitely stay there again.

I made our reservation for the Ocala Suites Hotel more than 6 weeks in advance. I specifically requested a wheelchair accessible room with a roll-in shower (not a tub). I called the week before we left to verify the reservation and that it was a roll-in shower. They confirmed everything. When we arrived, they only had 1 wheelchair accessible room and it had a tub...not a roll-in shower. They claimed that the last accessible room was booked over the previous weekend, or maybe it was being remodeled - they weren't quite sure which rooms (if any) had a roll-in shower. I asked if someone could go to Walmart and purchase a shower chair for us to use in the tub. They said that would have to go through the accounting department and could take up to 2 days. We canceled our reservation and found a different hotel that could accommodate us. The only reason I gave this review 2 stars is because the room looked like it had been nicely remodeled, but I was only in the room for a few seconds.

I just had a very pleasant experience at Ocala Suites. I was in the middle of a cross-country move and needed a place to stay for 2 or 3 days while I waited for the U-haul. The front office was friendly and welcoming. The unit was very clean, bed was comfy and the kitchen area really came in handy when I got my Instacart delivery. The area was very quiet so I was able to sleep off my jet lag. I felt very safe, the lights outside were bright enough in the evening and the door lock was substantial. (Important since the room was on the ground floor).I would definitely recommend Ocala Suites.

The hotel was really nice and clean. The door security was fantastic. However, do not get a room on the first floor because you will get absolutely not sleep! We were there 3 nights and I couldn’t wait to leave. The people upstairs were so loud from between 6-7 am all day until 12-1 at night. As night as the hotel was and as nice as the lady in the office was, I’ll never stay there again. It’s pretty bad when you need a vacation from the vacation we were looking forward to!
