With over 3 years of full time tutoring experience at tutoring centers around the Bay Area, I am excited to provide private in-your-home 1-on-1 tutoring for your middle school or high school child. I have experience preparing students for AP exams and the SAT, ACT, HSPT, Star Assessment, and interviews for private high schools. Specifically, I am qualified to teach or prepare for: AP Biology, AP Environmental Science, SAT, ACT, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, AP Literature, AP Language, APUSH, AP World, K-8 and high school study skills. Qualifications include two years of full time experience specifically working with students with ADD/ADHD, dyslexia, and with formal 504 plans. I have also taught 10-week group ACT classes at Menlo School. Besides preparing for the SAT or AP Exams, I also provide flexible, in-your-home support (no need to drive to a tutoring center!) for students preparing to apply to private high schools: specifically with the HSPT and Star Assessment, interview prep, writing sample and application essay prep.
