Gorgeous float down the Yellowstone. We loved the boat and our guide, Julie.

Feel like a bait and switch happened. It was explained that the trip was 3 hours. It was just under 2. The pics of the charcuterie on their website were remarkable different than the 8' x 8' shallow pastry box that was plopped down in front of us. Fortunately, we had snacks from an earlier hike. No wine glasses as shown on the website but rather plastic cups. Approximately one hour of the trip paralleled a busy highway. For $800, not worth it at all. There really wasn't anything special about the float. The highlight of the trip was driving through Paradise Valley to get there.

My friends and I try to do a float with Yellowstone Wood Boat Tours every summer because they're so amazing. The guides know the river like the back of their hand, and it is just the most amazing way to relax and spend time together on the beautiful river in our back yard. Can't recommend them enough!

By itself, floating the mighty Yellowstone was a highlight of our vacation. Having Julie as our guide added more to the trip than we could've imagined. Her knowledge of Paradise Valley and its history brought the experience to life. Julie is simply the best! The uniqueness of a float trip in a wood boat is charming to say the least. If you are in the area a trip down with the Yellowstone Wood Boat Tours is a must do!

This was by far one of the most enjoyable outing we experienced in Montana. Julie was our guide and she was AWESOME! We did the morning cruise and she was very accommodating with our time frame. From the fresh pastries, fruit, and cheese board to the conversations and stories we could not have asked for a better time. Our group of 6 would highly recommend the Yellowstone Wooden Boat Tour!
