We were very disappointed with this tour. It ended up with my husband and I on the tour with Caleb as the guide. Our understanding was the tour was supposed to last 1 1/2 hours. It turns out Caleb had a game he needed to be at, so he practically ran the whole time. My husband and I are in our 70’s and pretty fit, but the pace was ridiculous. He kept looking at his cell phone to check the time. Our tour ended up being 50 minutes. Instead of explaining things as we went along, he wanted us to guess the answers to things we expected him to explain. For some reason he took us down to the wharf and went off in some spiel about why Washington DC needs to be a state. I’m sorry, but keep your politics out of the tour. He took us back to the office and handed us a pile of photographs to look at while he sat at the desk on his cell phone. I seriously suggest his supervisor needs to have a serious talk with him.

This was such a fun way to explore a different part of Georgetown and learn its history. We had a great and knowledgeable tour guide and loved every minute. Highly recommend!

Cheyenne was an excellent tour guide! I was super lucky to have her all to myself for the tour. Her depth of knowledge of the past and present of the canal was perfect and her delivery was spot on. We had a great time walking and I learned so much about the history of the canal.

After reserving on-line days before the tour, we were excited to.Then we spent over an hour for a no-show tour guide at the office.Then we spent office appeared closed and nobody answered the phone and no returned calls from voice mailWB

Beverly our guide did a wonderful job sharing with the history of the C & O Canal. Well worth the money! Would highly recommend.
