La Montañita Co-op is New Mexico’s largest community-owned food market and is one of only two food Cooperatives in the United States that owns its own full-service Distribution Center. Operating since 1976, we offer fresh, local and organic produce, local grass-fed beef and other meats, cheeses, bulk foods, fair trade products, a wide variety of natural and organic groceries, freshly prepared deli foods, body and beauty products and a wellness department. We are a leader in the local foods movement, carrying over 1,000 local products from over 200 local producers and delivering statewide through our Cooperative Distribution Center We know the farmers!
