Great location and building. Clean rooms with a closet and comfortable beds and lighting. Well designed bathrooms. The Post restaurant on the roof top has exceptional views, good food and horrible service. They need a new manager.

Horrible. Drove 8.5 hours. Exhausted. 100 degrees outside. Room was 75 degrees. Turned AC down. 2.5 hours later the temp had dropped to 73. Called front desk. Said they would move us. Packed up. Moved to new room. It, too, was turned to 75. At 12:30 I demanded a refund. It’s a Marriott. $260*- and parking. And Marriott is trying to shave money on electricity while their guests roast. I will NEVER stay in a Marriott hotel again. NEVER.

I stayed here for full week. Called down every morning to ask for housekeeping, never received it. Room was never cleaned, towels were never replaced, and the bed was never made. I’ve never been more unhappy with a housekeeping situation than I was staying here. Would not stay here again.

There is a new kid on the block and a true game changer in downtown Boise that will surely attract travelers near and far away. Being three week old, it’s like stepping into a new luxury car with the ‘new car smell’ throughout the property. Its simple yet modern and elegant design theme is noticeable from the lobby to your bedroom. The front desk was professional and friendly, and they quickly recognized my Bonvoy status and provided a high floor with view upgrade. We opted for the free drink vouchers that we used to buy drinks at the roof top bar called “Boise Post”. This restaurant ended being a gem with indoor and outdoor seating and big views of Boise. Tip: Seating was limited so make reservations BEFORE you arrive and select the larger outdoor seating area especially for larger parties. The room includes a comfortable Queen bed, small table, chairs, small fridge, HDTV, and coffee maker. The bathroom was large and well lit and included a walk-in shower with shampoo, conditioner, and body soap included. Only issue was that there was plenty of hot water, but no cold (only warm water) available during this stay. The gym (5the floor) was good size with a handful of treadmills to choose from along with free weights and cable machines. There is a laundry room available steps from the gym. One of the best amenities available is a large beautiful patio area (by the gym) with 2 large Weber Summit grills, large tables and plenty of chairs, couches, lounge chairs and a 10+ person hot tub. This area would be perfect for sun bathing and if you wanted to grill steaks for your family to eat for dinner (note you would still need plates and utensils). There is also another smaller patio with 1 Weber Summit grill that was 1/3 the size of the larger patio (not sure of location). I’m not sure if bottle service is available at the patio, but that would be a great addition. There is a Starbucks conveniently available at the lobby outside the elevators, however it was not staffed during the time of this writing. There are however plenty of good artisan coffee within 5-10 minutes walking distance - e.g. Dawson Taylor. Another cool amenity available were Hydration Stations on every floor where you can fill your own water bottles.Plenty of good restaurants less than a 10 minute walk - e.g. Forks - and the Capitol Building with lots of historical information about Idaho is a short 10-12 minute walk.Overall a beautiful hotel with great amenities and a great location, which made for a memorable stay. We will definitely be coming back and staying at the property whenever visiting Boise in the future.

Avoid this place. Over priced and you as a resident are nothing. Spent 5 nights for Business, room never cleaned. You can buy frozen food in lobby but there is no way to heat it. Good luck with coffee in the morning because Starbucks is never open as they don’t contract yet. What are you even doing open. Restaurant is booked out for months to the public so you must go somewhere else to eat. Staff is rude when when frustrations are brought up which is normal when they don’t even know what is going on. Again, what are you even doing open. However your staff made it clear and Marriott has just been removed from my corporate account as a preferred. Holiday inn does better
