Second Watch Wood Works started with Rusty, our 90‑pound rescue who hated flimsy pet beds. After watching his store‑bought bed slide across the floor every time he climbed in or out, we built a solid, heavy wooden frame that stayed put. That design became our signature — dog beds built with real weight, real stability, and real craftsmanship. Today, we still make every bed one at a time, along with bluebird houses, wooden signs, and sturdy dog‑bowl stands. Everything is built with purpose, not mass‑produced, and priced to stay affordable. This shop isn’t about squeezing profit; it’s about giving our pets and homes something dependable, comfortable, and made to last. If you want handcrafted pieces with character, durability, and a story behind them, Second Watch Wood Works is built for you — and for the dogs who inspired it.
