Toast & Tonique is Newark's California fusion gastropub, where weekend brunch and third-wave espresso give way to craft cocktails and globally-inspired small plates by night. Our menu draws from Korean, Mexican, American, and Indian kitchens — think Kimchi Naan Nachos, the Seoul Burger, Bombay Sliders, an Oaxaca Old Fashioned, and a Kimchi Bloody Mary. Full bar, a carefully built cocktail program, and a warm Art Deco room in Lion Market Center on Cedar Blvd. Espresso. Cocktails. Cuisine. Brunch is served until 3PM everyday. From 3-3:30PM, our kitchen transitions to the full menu. During this time, we serve a limited Happy Hour/bar-bites menu. Full menu resumes at 3:30 PM. Select full-menu items may be available by request and may take longer than usual. For bigger celebrations, our private room accommodates up to 25 guests, making it the go-to for birthdays, corporate dinners, and watch parties.
