Dining was excellent the first night, but the second was a real letdown: a 30-minute wait without being seated, then a table by the front door, and a wine glass that arrived chipped with a crack down the side — having it poured into another glass felt more like a safety concern than a fix. At roughly $300 per dinner, that’s a hard miss.Housekeeping was never offered proactively during our stay — you’d need to request it yourself, which wasn’t made clear at check-in. When we did flag a broken lantern, we were told it would be replaced in the morning; it never was. What made this more puzzling was finding a cash tip envelope left out for housekeeping staff — a gesture that felt a bit tone-deaf when no service had been offered or rendered.The general store has no visible pricing, so spending felt like a guessing game rather than a clear transaction, and an itemized checkout receipt would go a long way toward transparency at this price point.The grounds are genuinely lovely, and these feel like fixable operational gaps — but at this price, the follow-through should match the setting.

A gorgeous park in the center of Brooklyn. Created by the same person who built Central Park, Prospect Park may be even more beautiful. Rolling hills, a huge lake and endless paths on which to wander, it affords endless exploring and relaxation. A real beauty.

This is Brooklyn's Central Park, a huge expanse of green space in the middle of the borough. You will find a lot here, walking and running paths, a botanical garden, a big city museum, playing fields, benches for sitting and some buildings. Great place for a long walk or a picnic. Brooklynites love it.

What an amazing resource! It's a huge park in the middle of Brooklyn with subway stops all around, so it is easy to get to. It is so big that it has all sorts of activities, ball parks, picnic areas, gardens, forests, hiking areas. So much to see and do and it is so pretty, pretty.

Prospect Park is one of the best parks in the city! First off, it is huge and there are plenty of things to see and do there. There is the zoo, the botanical garden, the streams, ponds, and the lake, the lawns, the villa, the many walkways and bikeways, and the many statues and monuments. Overall, Prospect park has it all and it is a great place to do any sort of exercise as well as just to relax on a nice day. I highly recommend!
