My mom always said "Cheap is expensive. We're too broke to be cheap." We may not have had much, but she was the first to teach me about the value of money and making smart decisions. Eventually, I'm proud to say that I was able to help my mother prepare for retirement and get her affairs in order toward the end of her life. Being able to serve people like that is why I became a planner, and positivity and family continue to be my greatest source of inspiration today. EFE may request that clients share their experiences.
