This food tour was so fun and unique! Other ones in the area are in the busy part of Austin. This food tour is in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood, I bet mostly locals know. Not only did Ki give history of the restaurants & shops, (including photos) but also of the nearby area, including a park and a nearby museum. Ki Ya has such a love of food and history, that her gentle excitement was contagious to all of us in the group! She tailored the event to our dietary restriction and even found a way around my picky son’s preferences. She was so thoughtful and kind. The end of the tour was my favorite part. Ki Ya helped us plan what we would do for the rest of our trip. She again, asked what we were interested in, and her recommendations led us to have an enjoyable time for the rest of our stay! Even though we were walking around, this tour was a relaxing activity - not to mention all the yummy gourmet snacks! Every member in our group said this was their favorite part of our visit to Austin!

What a great idea and this was. I signed up for this not having ever done a food tour before and I was a bit surprised at how easy going and nice the walk was. I'm glad I went on this one because other food tours like to be in the hustle and bustling sides of town but this one was very nice and relaxing and the food selection from start to finish left me full but not over full and experienced a lot of cool and different combination of foods I normally wouldn't have tried. The tour guide, herself, was delightful and got the impression she knew what she was talking about and took extra care for our food needs.

Fantastic tour! Ki ya is the best tour guide and shows some awesome gems I've never seen. Wether an austinite or just visiting, I highly recommend this tour!
