I truly had no idea what people could do with a Blackbox theatre until Darnell Patrick Morris, founder and artistic director, puts on a show in his space called The Harriet (after Harriet Tubman). I have seen Jesus Christ Superstar and A Christmas Carol in this space, both were incredible productions! I have seen photos of their production of Little Shop of Horrors and the set was incredible! It's a shame the larger community doesn't seem to know about them, people are surely missing out! I only say that because otherwise these shows would sell out within hours, if not minutes.
