I did a solo night sky tour with Dawn and it was worth every penny. She is a Estes Park local who cares and knows SO MUCH about the area. I knew nothing about astrophotography and she made it digestible and easy to get started. Not only did I receive great instruction on the photos, but I learned a lot about the night sky in general and cool facts about the area and critters. Thanks Dawn, I'll hope to take another tour next year!

We had an exceptional experience with Creeks and Critters! They worked with us to customize a tour for our group of 13, which included a wide range of ages, and did a fantastic job making the experience enjoyable for everyone. We started around 6:30 p.m. with wildlife viewing and were incredibly lucky to see a moose in the wild fairly close to us—definitely one of the highlights of our entire Colorado trip! We also spotted elk and deer along the way.Our group drove in our own vehicles, and they provided walkie-talkies so our guide, Winn, could communicate with us as we traveled from stop to stop. This worked perfectly and made the drive itself part of the experience. We made our way up to the Alpine Visitor Center and stopped at several beautiful locations along the way to enjoy the scenery and watch the sunset. We finished the evening with stargazing before wrapping up around 11:00 p.m.Winn was a wonderful guide. He was knowledgeable, accommodating, and great with our entire group. From seeing a moose in the wild to watching the sunset in the mountains and ending under the stars, this was such a memorable experience. If you’re visiting Rocky Mountain National Park and want something beyond the typical sightseeing trip, we highly recommend Creeks and Critters!
