I've lived in Oregon my whole life and honestly couldn't imagine being anywhere else. One of my favorite things about living here is how many beautiful places we have right at our fingertips! Whether it's a wildflower field, a forest trail, downtown areas, or somewhere that means something to you, I love finding locations that fit the people I'm photographing. If you're worried about being awkward in front of the camera, you're definitely not alone. I hear that from people all the time. Don't worry though, I have plenty of tricks up my sleeve to help you feel comfortable and confident. We'll keep things relaxed, play some music, and focus on having a good time instead of stressing about stiff poses. Speaking of stiff poses... I'm not a huge fan of them! We'll still grab the classic smiling-at-the-camera photo when it makes sense... but I'd much rather get you talking, moving around, listening to music, and focusing on the people you're with instead of the camera in front of you. I photograph seniors, families, couples, kids, individuals, local businesses, and events, but my favorite part of any session is getting to know the people in front of my camera. Every person, family, and story is different, and that's what keeps photography interesting.
