Almenara Classical Acupuncture offers individualized acupuncture and East Asian medicine rooted in classical traditions and whole person care. Adriana Rivadeneira Almenara, MAc, LAc, has been practicing since 2011, with training in Classical Five Element Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Classical Chinese Medicine, including study of the classical medical texts and traditions of China. Treatment may include acupuncture, moxibustion, Chinese herbal medicine, cupping, gua sha, and other modalities as appropriate. At Almenara, treatment begins with the person, not simply the symptom or diagnosis. Care is guided by careful observation, classical diagnostic principles, and an understanding of how the different aspects of a person's health and experience relate to one another. Each treatment is individualized to the person in front of me, with the goal of addressing underlying patterns as well as what brings you to care.
