Rachelle at the front desk was outstanding— a wonderful check-in experience. My two issues were that the shower did not seal and so we had water on the bathroom floor and on Saturday night there is a LOT of noise in DT MSP. We were on 26th floor and still loud music, sirens and loud cars disrupted sleep.
MoreThe hotel was nice and staff was as well. Spacious and comfortable bed. Unfortunately, there was an electricity test going on and while we had been told that the generators would kick in, they did not. No heat, no WiFi, no electricity and the elevators stopped for a bit. And also… no discount.
MoreVery nice hotel. The lobby, bar, and club lounge were all very well maintained and worked well to meet up with my group. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Most importantly, my room was clean and spacious. I had a great view of Minneapolis from the 30th floor (not sure if that changes depending on which side of the hotel you stay on). I would stay here again. Location is great: downtown Minneapolis within walking distance of the basketball arena and the baseball stadium. There are a lot of restaurants to choose from in walking distance also. If the weather is bad, you can use the skywalks to get around downtown.
MoreDo not stay here. Hotel inflexible. Needed to leave early and staff quoted a 48 hour policy to modify a room reservation. Charge a night of hotel otherwise. Not documented on any of my paperwork or reservation documentation. First time in 20 years of travel I have encountered this from a hotel.
MoreSuperb short and no-fuss 2 night stay. Was upgraded to junior suite which was quite spacious. Room had outside noise issues, but apart from that no real complaints. Bed was comfortable. Location was outstanding and walkable everywhere in Downtown.
