We went for lunch. There is a parking lot with free parking. There were about 10 food places. We tried pampusas from one. Birria tacos from another and tried Mexican corn from another place. All items we tried were good. Also there was a Mexican bakery, coffee shop and smoothie shop. One little restaurant did not have employees that spoke English, only Spanish. There was also a little deli. There were a few little stalls that sold trinkets, Flowers and a deli. I would go again.

Mercado Centeal is full of fantastic food options one of my favorites is Tortilleria La Perla you must try the chicken tostado. The service could be better and the cleanliness could improve, but overall I would recommend as it’s a slice of Mexico in the middle of Minneapolis.

Great fun to just wander around and try different interesting foods from high quality vendors. Something good for everyone. The biggest problem is trying to decide what ti have. They often have entertainment too.

This is a fine place to find and consume the foods of the Mexicans made by actual Mexican people. A treat.

I've been looking for mexican charms and thought this might be the place. It was similar to shopping in Mexico , finding hidden shops at every turn but when you're looking for a specific item, it would save time if everything was in a specific area. I also thought the food items were a little high in price. Interesting but I probably wouldn't shop there again.
