The first time we visited the Inn with new owners we each had a strange burger made with lamb. While I give points for something new, it was not good. And my wife and I both like lamb. So wanting to give them a fair shake we returned last Friday night. Unfortunately the second time was worse. I had the most over cooked even burned burger I've had at a restaurant. My daughters food was also way over done. The French Fries are good but I estimate I got 12 fries with my burned $9.95 burger. So once again I believe the Island Lake Inn is going to be short lived. It'll never be as good as it was when Jerry owned it.

Food was excellent, atmosphere great and service was wonderful for how understaffed they were on a game day Sunday. Great job though!!
