The manor was originally built as a vacation house. I remember when the manor was converted into a Maritime Museum. It is empty now. But I can imagine the people who used to live here. The walking paths offer lovely views of the Mississippi River. The garden is peaceful. We especially enjoyed walking behind the manor and climbing down the steps to the verandas.

This is a great park to picnic, fish, or walk along the various trails. The overlook of the river is just a short, 500 ft., walk from the parking lot. The path is relative smooth and flat, for those using a walker or pushing a wheelchair. There are also benches along the short walk to sit and catch your breath if needed.

Beautiful park to run! Has challenging hills - both grass, gravel or paved to work on cardio & glutes. Gorgeous scenery! River overlook, lake, trees, picnic areas. This park has nice restrooms. Also, pavilions to rent. I like it here because it is peaceful and rarely crowded. Good place to build confidence on short well maintained trails. Easy, fun and beautiful!!

We live in the city but we don't like city park so we always go to Bee Tree park, my kids love it there not crowded, safe, the restroom is clean & convenient, then we can go near the lake down below & walk around the walking trail. Also the mansion house above over looking the mississippi river is so beautiful!!! Love it there, our favorite park in the county

This is a park that is overlooked for its many nice features. Good place to walk, have a picnic, and just set to enjoy the river. Bring your camera.
