tripadvisorThe is a perfect spot to relax in the beach for the day. You have to park across the street and it costs about $2/hr which is really reasonable. The lot isn’t very big so you might be waiting if there is nothing available when you arrive. There is a beautiful shaded boardwalk that takes you to the beach (1 min walk). There are washrooms and showers for sand. The beach itself is beautiful! The water temp was really warm and we were there in a green glad day with some waves, but minimal current. The beach also has lifeguards.
MoreI go all the time .. I walk down make a right onto the private beach ... it's quiet and dead .... not any crowds especially on season ... there is nobody..... if u want a pretty secluded spot that's the place to go ... people complain about the walk from the parking area but it's better then fighting for a spot by the main beach .... bring some snacks and a drink and just relax .
MorePotential for a beautiful beach is there but the litter strewn throughout the beach and along the shore was disgusting. The trash was overflowing. I wrote to the City about it but never heard back. Was saddened by its neglect.
MoreBeach is ok if but not worth the significant walk from the car. Rated too high. Municipal beach with parking is better bet. Would not recommend.
MoreGreat parking on the other side of the road. Bath house and showers. Nice for sunbathing or a little snorkeling! Easy to miss, so watch for signs. Parking about $3/hr in March with ParkMobile.
