My recent visit to this park exceeded all expectations, and I must admit that the high praise it received from my former coworker was well-deserved. Upon arrival, it became evident that this park was a local gem, bustling with activity and life. The two medium-sized parking lots were teeming with cars, with a few even opting for street parking. It was a Saturday, and the park was abuzz with a diverse array of visitors. From joggers and cyclists to families picnicking and children frolicking, the park was a hub of vibrant energy. Some were busy capturing its beauty with cameras, while others, like myself, were eager to share their experiences through reviews. This park truly embodied the essence of community and outdoor enjoyment. In terms of amenities, this park left nothing to be desired. It boasted an impressive range of facilities, making it accessible and enjoyable for visitors of all ages. It's safe to say that this park set the gold standard for what a park should offer. One could consider this park a hybrid of a memorial and nature park due to its multifaceted attractions. The standout feature for me was the tree grove nestled within a wooded area—a haven yet to be explored during my visit. My journey through the park began on a well-maintained paved trail. While it offered less shade, it was seamlessly integrated into a complex trail system that promised endless exploration opportunities. Along the way, I encountered a prominent memorial area that served as a poignant reminder of the park's significance. Further along, an overlook with sweeping vistas of distant mountains and serene meadows beckoned to me. Regrettably, it was occupied by a lively party at that moment, so I made a mental note to return later for the breathtaking views. On the western side of the park, a pavilion caught my attention. As I climbed its stairs, I discovered an ideal vantage point on top, perfect for taking in the park's beauty. It was at this moment that I realized the pavilion was hosting a wedding ceremony. The bride and groom, adorned in resplendent blue attire, exuded joy and promise for the future. Silently, I extended my best wishes to the happy couple. Nearby, a historical monument and shaded benches provided a peaceful spot for reflection and contemplation. Midway through the park, I stumbled upon a captivating garden. It was a treasure trove of diverse flora, boasting an extensive collection that included tropical plants, annuals, perennials, and more. The sheer variety of plant life was awe-inspiring and a testament to the park's dedication to natural beauty. For nature enthusiasts, the park featured an extensive trail system that promised hours of exploration and adventure. As my visit concluded, the park continued to fill with more eager visitors, while fewer left. The lively atmosphere and sense of community were undeniable.Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend this park to anyone seeking a new and captivating outdoor experience. While the crowd may be a bit overwhelming at times, the park's myriad attractions and vibrant ambiance make it well worth a visit.

We were in town during the peak of the cherry blossoms. It was pretty walking around. The pavilion has an observation deck to view the park from an elevation. We saw people with their dogs walking on trails..... not sure where the map was located to see all what the park offered.

Average trip. We arrived at approximately 5:30 pm and made our way towards the entrance of the trail. We opted to hike the Ridge, Bur Oak, Cliff and Tree Trail Loop, which was a 2.3 mile loop trail around the park. There were plenty of parking options to choose from. The trail was definitely on the moderate/difficult side, as it contained numerous steep inclines and declines. The trail took us through a forest, with occasional views of a stream. The trail was relatively narrow in certain sections. We did have to use AllTrails as a guide because the trail was not marked very well and we didn’t want to get lost. We encountered a huge pavilion in the middle of the trail, along with a play area for kids and multiple benches to sit and enjoy a meal at.Tip: I recommend spending 1 hour here if you truly want to see everything.

Ault Park is a fantastic Cincinnati venue for trips and events. There are two main garden areas, The garden of Roses and Brumm Gardens. The park is amazing when it's in full blook between April and October of each year. Also, there is a fountain between the steps leading up to the Pavilion area. Ault Park is very well known for its access and beautiful landscapes. On a beautiful day be prepared to share your time there with many other sightseers.

My husband grew up going to this park frequently, so when we were in Cincy on a road trip, we stopped for about an hour. It was lovely to see beautiful flowers and plants blooming even in October, and a great place to walk.
