tripadvisorWe brought two of our grandchildren here for an outdoor excursion — we started in the Welcome Center / Nature Center. The main building houses park info, restrooms, a sitting area, educational classrooms and a robust array of history inspired exhibits. This space is perfect for small groups of students (scouts etc) to be involved in interactive structured arts & crafts etc. The nearby massive playground may very well be the most well designed group of age appropriate play structures in all of Williamson County. It’s clearly a well funded (donors, corporate sponsors and benefactors) project that should stand the test of time. The large park also boasts several small lakes and walking trails. The location is tucked back off the main thoroughfare of west Fairview. No fee is required to experience this amazing community offering.
MoreBowie Nature Park is a Beautiful park. There is a play ground and nature center. Fishing, biking, hiking and equestrian trails. The hiking trails aren’t too difficult but you can get a good up and down walk if you hike the perimeter trail. There are picnic tables and you can always see ducks when you go and they are pretty used to people. You need to follow the park rules about what to feed the ducks. Great place for the whole family. Gorgeous scenery.
MoreWonderful park with equestrian trails, picnic benches and many little lakes. Diverse ducks and geese...bring nutritious snacks for them, not bread, please! Easy hiking or walking. Enjoy!

MoreLove this park. Miles of trails with activities along the way, wild life, nature center, a small lake, picnic areas. Peaceful and quiet. Good for the soul!
