What a beautiful park. This was my first time visiting. Lots of open space, a kid's playground area (a bit flooded after HUGE rain this week), a large pavilion with LOTS of picnic tables and plenty of trash bins, and a very popular hiking trail that we saw many people utilized up until night fall.

Drake Sports park is one of the nicer city-maintained parks in the area. Lots of open spaces and trail areas as well as a very good paved walking trail. Always clean! There is a half-pipe skate board park that is pretty good as well as numerous baseball and soccer fields. They have a good kids area and a pavillion for private functions when the weather permits.

I use the track a lot, but the nature trails are great. Very quiet with lots of activities going on and something to do for everybody.

Bring the children to to children’s area, go for a walk on the trail, play base or softball, skateboard, learn to bike. Play tennis or Pickleball. Just get out there. Great park with many activities. I am sure I left some out. How about a picnic in a sheltered area. Just come on out and do it.
