tripadvisorI love this park my nephew Jeremy Hester always came here to play frisbee golf. There is a living tree a little library in his memory, always bring books and just enjoy the park.
MoreGreat disc golf course for beginners (minimal trees, essentially no opportunities to lose a disc, short holes). Our go-to for anyone new to the sport. Pretty well maintained but I saw a couple places where the tees could have used some love - be careful of your footing. 9 holes, went around 2x in about 1.5 hours
MoreSince the virus, we have been staying home as much as possible but do need to get out in a safe way to keep our sanity. So lately we have been ordering curbside pick up from Subway or Panera and taking it to different City and County Parks for a safe, picnic lunch. We tried this park for the first time today and was greatly disappointed that it had only two covered picnic areas considering how large the park is. While each had multiple tables, you couldn't really social distance and upon our arrival, there was one workman eating his lunch in one of them and some teenager sleeping on top of a couple of tables in the other one. We ate lunch in our car. Would be nice if the City added some stand alone picnic tables as there is certainly more than enough land to do so.
MoreSo many options on this site - something for everyone. Plenty of room to just picnic or to play. Great neighborhood perk.
