tripadvisorTerrific park in the middle of a residential area. Around the perimeter you can find cute little gazebos to sit & ponder overlooking some great city views.
MoreI have been walking my dog in Crocheron Park for years. Both my first dog (pitbull/ dalmatian) and my current one a beagle/terrier mix. There is a large field for baseball that one can jog around and a smaller one near the city tennis court. There is a small pond (golden Pond) that use to have carps, ells, sunfish, but now mainly has carp and a lot of turtles. It is also a haven for waterfouls like heron, egrets, ducks and mute swans. This is a nice place to stroll in the summertime. One can also cross the Cross Island Parkway to walk along the water of Little Neck Bay near Golden Pond.
MoreBeautiful park with pond and trees. Nice place to ride bikes or just walk. A Bayside Favorite for many many years.
Morevery quiet and scenic place, good for a 6 mile run and to meditate while staring at the water. Come alone, with a partner or a buddy .
MoreThis is a lovely park with a pond and willow trees. In the summer there are turtles & fish in the pond. There are open grassy areas and places to play sports.
