We spent about an hour in this well tended garden located next to the senior center. A couple of gardeners were shaping trees and answered our questions. Water features include koi. Beautiful place to visit!

A wonderful spot for relaxation, the area is full of nature and beauty. It has four gazebos where you can sit and unwind, plus plenty of seating along the cement trail.

Great if you love Japanese gardens. We enjoyed the area with our young daughter. It was relaxing to look at the fish and look at the pond.

Actually located closer to Castro Valley then to downtown Hayward, the gardens is a beautiful place, well-maintained, nice pagoda, trees, Koi fish. There used to be raccoons there but have not seen them in several years Nice place for a walk and located next to Hayward Senior Centre and Doug Morrison Community Theatre. Only takes 10 minutes or so to walk through but well worth the price (FREE). Closes at 4 p.m. daily. A hidden gem of the East Bay.
