We found this park while watching a Youtub video about San Antonio. It is one of many wonderful parks that we found in the area. The trails are well maintained. There were lots of deer there that had no fear of humans. We found the signage a bit confusion in places and ended up at a dead end one time, but we had a great time here.

Hidden gym in the middle of the city has great walking trails you can run on them too if you like it’s a great place a survey nature. If you look on to the right rock you’ll find some surprises

Not a lot of trails, but it's a nice place to walk. Feels pretty safe during the day. Even walkways. Lots of trees. It has a good playground area for kids and a lot of tables to have a picnic.

I grew up going to this park, and when I started training for half marathons, this is where I ran. The trails are mostly well-kept and the they are pretty wide. The only thing that is not great is that the drinking fountains are pretty spread apart. That can make running long distances difficult in the middle of summer.

We were walking past on the Leon Creek Greenway and detoured via a connector trail into O.P. Schnabel Park looking for a restroom. It's a very nice park; mostly wooded and shady with several miles of trails. Some of the trails are paved and suitable for bicycles, wheelchairs and strollers (although there are some hills). The park website has a link to a map showing trail routes, distances, and grades. We found a restroom at a large picnic pavilion that is available for rental. I noticed a playground and picnic tables by the pavilion and the YMCA is also located nearby. In addition to the trails, there are many recreation opportunities such as basketball courts, baseball and soccer fields, and a swimming pool. There may be a fee for some activities. We saw several deer while we were walking through the park. They seemed accustomed to humans walking by and didn't run away.
