Just south of Murray Lock and Dam, the park is on the banks of the Arkansas River. It offers a boat launch for fishermen and pleasure cruisers alike. There is plenty of parking here. A bike lane runs out to the park from Cantrell Road, providing a nice alternative to city traffic. Murray Park also has a dog park.

tripadvisorThe park was made for everyone to enjoy. There’s a dog park. There’s an exercise park area. Bike path for joggers and bikes. A bridge to walk over. People were fishing. During the Covid-19 time it was spacious and a breath of fresh air.
MoreThere's paved sidewalks to stroll, skate, run, ride your bike, whatever. There are many pavilions for use for events. I see people playing volleyball, we bbq sometimes here. You can bring your dogs & there's plenty of grass for the kids to play. Right on the river with a great view. Just a really good place for being outside.
MoreThis is just a nice area in general to sit and look at the river or go for a walk. There are a lot of people out walking and riding bikes. Very dog-friendly also.
