tripadvisorlocal park just off Webb rd seems well kept and good for young kids not far from Kellogg ave or dillons
MoreHarrison Park is on the east side of town. It has a great walking trail, exercise equipment along the trail, has tennis courts, a soccer field and a nice park for the kids. It does have bathroom facilities and water fountains by the park as well. There is a small pond frequented by ducks and geese - which are fun to watch. It offers lots of just OPEN space even a hill for the kids to play on! Beautiful Park - holds a place in my heart - my husband purposed to me here!!
MoreThis trail is pretty flat, so easy for the beginner and the quick walk before the sunsets. The path is wide and there are bikers, dog walkers, joggers, and me a slow, enjoy the walk, walker!
MoreNice place for a morning walk or other exercise. Do a little fishing and just sit back and watch the folks enjoying themselves
MoreDepending on what you are looking for in a park, Harrison Park could be great for your needs. If you live nearby and want a place to run, walk or take your dog for a walk, this place has a nice path for these purposes. The playground is okay, it does have sand underneath however, so your kids will be covered in sand and if they like digging in sand, they will probably discover some treasures (garbage). If you want to have a picnic, you will need to bring a blanket or chairs, as there really aren't picnic benches or areas built in that I have discovered there in multiple visits. The worst part is the restrooms. They are disgusting and frighten small children. They are literally very dimly lit cement and brick rooms with multiple stalls without doors on them so you have zero privacy. Toilets and sink are stainless steel and you got the feeling everything was very dirty, but you couldn't completely tell because of the very dim yellow light so it was quite dark even during daylight hours. There also was not a functional way to dry your hands. I would only recommend going to this park for a short outing where you aren't likely to need the restrooms. We will gladly drive further to go to a better park for our park needs.
