tripadvisorThis park is a very nice trek through the woods hidden away in an urban neighborhood. The trails are slightly less extensive than I had originally hoped, but they're still a fun and nice easy hike.
MoreA most beautiful natural area within the city area providing an enjoyable tranquil escape from all the buildings and busy roads. This undeveloped piece of land has trails in the shape of wooden and paved pathways to walk along. A wonderful experience - worth a visit or many visits!
MoreThe park is a natural ravine that has not been developed within the city neighborhoods. It's a great little Escape from a lot of concrete. Today I filmed a pileated woodpecker boring a hole in a tree!
MoreOn a recent family visit to Seattle I needed a little me time, a little quiet, a little excercise, a little fresh air. So my son directed me to Interlaken. What a delight. It's a bit of paradise in the middle of a bustling city. I took the wooded paths but there was also a beautiful paved path. My hour at Interlaken was just what I needed. I highly recommend Interlaken if you need to breathe deeply & stretch your legs in the woods.
MoreThis park provides a fun connection between the Volunteer park and the Washington park arboretum. Minus the paved trails, this park feels like the wilderness. It is a short walk(30 minutes), but you will forget about the city entirely while you are immersed in this haven of nature. It is free.
