A friend and I were staying at an Airbnb in the area and we were looking for a quiet place to cool off and ended up here. We had a lovely time. We came during the week- there were just a couple of families and their kids here.

We love Mint Springs, there are things to do all year around. From swimming to hiking trails to a playground.

639987456 Mint Springs Valley Park is nestled at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It is in a horseshoe shaped cove surrounded by forested mountains which block road noise, and with few airplanes overhead, and if no wind, you can be treated to real silence, except when the swimming beach is open. Otherwise the Park offers passive recreation with everything you could want in a modern rural park:There are no athletic fields or courts. The reason we come here is for the 7 hiking trails. Some trails circle the inside of the cove at higher elevations for some nice vistas. I brought my own map printed from their website. Park address is 6659 Mint Springs Park.
