This park is located close to an LTD bus line making it accessible to most all families. Lots of shade trees, benches and tables. Restrooms and playground equipment for family fun.Lots of grassy areas. BEWARE there are so many DUCKS or GEESE that sitting on the grass might be something to reconsider. I have always felt safe and welcomed at this park. Parking at the East end of the park. I take my own drinking water. There are faucets in the summer. A covered pavilion for shade is available. Not sure if those can be reserved and rented.

Large newer playground. Bathrooms and water. Lots of green space with wildlife - baby ducks & gophers to watch! A good number of normal people and only a few homeless - felt safe.
