These reviews are so old and not very relevant. In the winter Ruby Hill has great sledding and a terrain park that you can get free skis/boards. They use the snow making equipment from winter park ski resort to make snow. In the summer it has a bike park with a slopestyle course, 2 pump tracks and a cross country loop. They also have an amphitheater with free concerts and yoga. Add this to the pool and playgrounds and this is one dynamite park year round!

For years I thought Ruby Hill was the highest point in Denver. It is one of the highest and I believe it is the highest in south Denver. Wherever it ranks, the view of downtown and the suburbs to the south and east are the best you can get without going up in the mountains. I have only rated it three stars because there is a lot of construction going on in the park right now that detracts from the view. Also, you can no longer drive through the park from top to bottom as Mexico Avenue is now closed to traffic at the top of the hill where a pavilion was recently erected. The sundial's red eye looks creepy to me. Not everyone appreciates modern art. I didn't think there was anything wrong with just having a grass covered hilltop but obviously the park board and the voters thought otherwise. Still a pretty nice park but I still wouldn't hang out there after dark. No matter how much sculpture is placed there to pretty it up it's still a rough neighborhood.

Went on Saturday and had so much fun sledding, there are a few hills so even though it was crowded we didn't really get in each others way. There were park rangers walking around , making sure people were being safe which I really liked. We took our dog and as long as he stayed on his leash he was welcome! Another couple had their dog off leash and got a $100 ticket…

Not a lot to do in summer. Nice view of city. Large park. Area is just okay. Not really a place I felt like spending a lot of time
